November 03, 2008 3:47 PM- the last flash of gold
This was taken from my studio window yesterday morning. There's no story here, just a desire to replace the pretty girl in the last post.
Which is not to say I won't have more stories for you sometime very soon (I will!). Rather, today, to quote Mama Cass, "all the leaves are brown and the sky is gray . . ." and so I am indulging my melancholy heart with some carrots (fat, stubby, locally grown goodness) and sweet red peppers that have been roasted in ESSE.
Yes, my girl is back in action which can only mean one thing: winter is ahead.
Is the melancholia any more understandable now?
Anyway. All is well, if self-indulgent. Soon new things to share.
Bisous ~

sherry says: You are not going to believe this but I see my summer fuchsia plant in full leaf and full bloom outside my kitchen window. Just this afternoon while washing dishes, a humming bird zoomed in for a sweet. Unbelievable. On the other hand, roasted vegetables in trusty ESSE sounds just delish. posted on: November 03
