June 30, 2008 6:56 PM- oh how totally fun

So Neil wants an RSS feed, and due to his ((dogged, most very dogged)) efforts it seems I shall shortly be in the possession of RSS feeding opportunities. It is not clear to me what this implies for you all except a sense that now it will be easier to blog at work which by all means--
I support anything we can do to reclaim our lives from The Man.

Meanwhile, as it seems I am being pushed into new techie arenas, I actually did this flickr meme from Bella and you know what I discovered? Flickr is freaking awesome-- seriously.

(Oh, and you know what ELSE is good? Sliced bread-- seriously, try it-- it's what all the hipsters are eating these days).

I had never spent any time with Flickr before and this was a GAS. And I like what was created-- some kind of self-portrait-y thing.
The meme goes like this:

Type your answer to each of the questions below into Flickr search.
Using only the first page, choose an image.
Copy and paste each of the URL?s into the mosaic maker over at FD's image maker.

The questions:
What is your first name?
What is your favorite food?
What high school did you attend?
What is your favorite color?
Who is your celebrity crush?
Favorite drink?
Dream vacation?
Favorite dessert?
What do you want to be when you grow up?
What do you love most in life?
One word to describe you.
Your Flickr name

(Plus I added one more secret one to balance out how my mosaic was set-up)

If you do it-- and it's hella fun, or at least it was for me-- do let me know-- I'd love to come check yours out!!

got 2 cents?

Pretty!! Flickr is cool, yo. If you add it into your toolbar, you can reload random pages of their most interesting photos. Find me on there and add me... xo

I think this is one of the more interesting memes to come up in a long time, but I do wish it included a reminder to credit the photographers.

What fun! I haven't been a Flickr person yet, but this was a great meme - I've posted mine on my blog.

We chose one of the same photos. The picture of the bookstore/bike. Mine was for the color blue.
