March 29, 2006 12:33 PM- Stuck on Henry

What's wrong with this picture?

Henry fans will want to know: how can a three-inch long, 1/2 inch diameter 'foreign object' remain undetected in a dog's body for two weeks, through 2 vet visits and the frequent affections of two overly-attentive owners?

It's a mystery to us, and to Henry apparently. He seems unfazed and so far hasn't channeled any Karl Rove. So he will have his latest veterinary adventure- stick-removal surgery w/ anesthesia- tomorrow at 10:00 AM.

Keep your fingers crossed!

Oooooh. What a long-suffering angel. God love him. Lots of good wishes! Get a good night's sleep, T. A dog recovering from anesthesia can be a challenge.

Awh buddy... I hate when you do things like this to yourself. Fingers and toes firmly crossed for a speedy recovery and lots of pity-treats.

By the way - inquiring minds would like to know: what breed is Henry? My grandmother used to have a Shiba/Labrador mix, Fendi, who was a spitting image of Henry (down to his very distinguished frown lines). He's a great looking little guy.

Good luck Henry. you'll be alright ol' chap. Just remember, trees are for loving and admiring, and cleaning the air, not getting them rammed into your side. cheers. Jane

Seriously, henry, we've got a problem. Your parents need to spend their money on more important things... like wine and cheese. And here you are spending it on silly things like surgery. Shape up, man! They are counting on you!

My poor baby Henry.... Amazing how they just deal with stuff isn't it? If I had a 3 inch stick embedded in my side I would so not just be going on with life. Unfazed is NOT the way I would be acting.
