Must see Block Party.

MUST see Block Party.

MUST SEE Block Party!

And it's not playing in Boston or Cambridge this weekend?!! That cannot be right. Dear readers in the beantown area-- please help. Where is this movie playing. I. Must. Experience. It. STAT.

And, I have a feeling it will be the kind of movie I must see daily. DAILY. Everyday for at least a few months. But I'm just guessing, perhaps it will need to be for longer than that . . . Jill Scott, Fugees reunion . . . *begins hyperventilating*

MUST SEE.

And will also see my darling Neil's new one, "Heart of Gold." Have I ever told you how Harvest is one of the few albums that is engrained in my soul? How I wore it out? Yes, my tendency to overplay things can be traced back to my youth.

Is it Spring? Is this why I am bordering on the manic and the excitement of PARTIES and MUSIC and INSPIRATION and CAPITALIZATION?

God, I love this feeling. I believe they call it, "alive".

Oh and remember how I turned Otter on to Natalie Dee? Well, mimi smartypants just turned me on to a collaboration of Ms. Dee and her man which is here and fan-tucking-fastic! Best part? Mimi doesn't even KNOW she turned me on . . heh.

got 2 cents?

Hey, a sunny and happy post of your own! I'm glad we're both feeling so alive. And yes, I think part of it is Spring. Oh, how I love Spring. And I want to see Heart of Gold too!

Come to Providence, we'll have coffee, maybe a drink or two, eat Italian food on Atwells, and we'll pick from the 10 different theatres that it's playing in here. Seriously. Wonder why it's not in Boston? I must see this movie too! Jane

And seriously? If you can't SPELL Krispy Kreme, you shouldn't be allowed talk about them. Begone, vile person! I am awfully glad to see that someone else plays CDs incessantly. It's hereditary, too -- both of my girls like me to play songs overandoverandover, which is why we only listen to things that I like. Good luck getting to see Block Party!

Yes, yes - I play CDs over and over, especially in the mornings. I'll go for a good month with a serious obsession for Coldplay or Patty Griffin or Kate Bush. I can't wait until Block Party comes down South and we can all dance in the aisles of the movie theater. Happy Spring, dearest BP!!

Hi! I'm new to your blog and had to say that I love it! To respond to your question about Block Party playing in Boston: I live in Cambridge and I believe that it's playing at AMC Fenway (Boston) and Loews Assembly Square (Somerville). Hope you get out to see it (I certainly want to)! Have a great weekend!

I'm commenting twice! And this means I read your post TWICE! How's that for loyalty? Perhaps I will get something new out of it every time. Harvest is an amazing album. I saw Neil Young live. I've seen tons of music--punk shows, you name it. Neil Young was by far the loudest performer I've ever seen. I could not hear well for weeks. If I go deaf, it's because of him. But it was worth it. (Well, kinda. I'm not deaf yet. I might change my tune.)
