March 19, 2006 10:26 AM- harbinger of Spring

Friday, I met T in town for lunch and he left my camera with me so I could take some shots on my way home from work. I wanted to capture the cornfields before planting, the lake as ice begins to recede (that?s ?ice out? to us here locals), and the sap buckets that have sprouted on maples.

I haven?t written much here about the whole Blogging the Artist?s Way experience. Not sure why that is. But it has been huge for me, huge. And, (I hope he?s not reading this) has had a big impact on T, too.

Ew?that was queer, like ?toto too.? Blech. Oh well?you know me and my rules about posting?all in a go?no editing.

As I sit here I find it hard to put these past 10 weeks into some semblance of order. Perhaps that?s precisely what has been so great? These past 10 weeks have been more loose, more free-flowing, more spontaneous?with dozens of creative projects popping up everywhere like finding asparagus pips sprouting in the strawberry patch--- random, quirky and utterly delicious. I am so grateful to Kat for having sponsored this and feel so enriched by all the bloggers I have connected with in participating in this joint endeavor.

Daily creativity is taking hold.

There are some big things happening for me and I hope to capture some of it here in the next few months? but until then, update on the wounded dog: he is doing much better and seems not to be in such discomfort. I?m going to take him out for a walk (a slow, gentle walk) right after I post this.

Thank you all for your care and concern--- it means so much to me. Blessed be.

oh no Painterly, as if, like, in THEORY, the tip of asparagus could jut up where you least expect it--- we have a baby blizzard going on here today too-- no planting (let alone sprouting) until after Memorial Day.

This is completely off topic, but when I glance at your header I think it says, "living a wasabi, life. hee! And given my love of sushi, a wasabi life wouldn't be so bad either ;)
