It's four o'clock in the afternoon and my kitchen is a mess. Not sure why cleaning the kitchen did not make it to the top of things I really want to do today, but there you have it.

If you are looking for inspiration or some creative spark or a bit of a new meander through your internet garden, here are three links that I particularly enjoyed of late:

Today's post at Kateri's site was just the ticket for me. She always shares ideas and reflections in such a thoughtful manner, but this morning's post was just such a good reminder of something I need to remember-- let the angels in. Let them in.

DAISY: Does she mean us?

OLLIE: Grow up, dogbreath.

HENRY: But wait, this is my "angelic" look.

Another post I highly recommend (which feeds my need for intellectual pondering without requiring my piddly brain to do any of said pondering-- I can simply enjoy Hele's train of thought)-- with the bonus that she leaves you with DOZENS of fabulous links-- this would be a perfect post to launch a morning of surfing with a fresh cup of coffee.

And lastly, this one is more timely-- Katrina Rodabaugh is having a sale at her Etsy shop until April. Happy browsing!

Happy surfing-- see you on the next go-round.

got 2 cents?

Don't ya just love the internet garden? I, being a gardener, love all sorts of gardens. But when inside, I've usually got a pet in my lap and I'm "on the internet garden!" Brenda

As much as I love meandering through the internet gardens, I can't help but lament my real garden frozen beneath the white piles. I can't tell you how desperate I am for fresh garden herbs again. -sigh- Hopefully your links can distract me :)

Hey, while you're surfing, try the article on New England roofs collapsing under all the snow at the NY Times. I thought of you and all your snow - how's your roof holding up? PS - it's snowing in KS today, hope it doesn't make it to NH!

I get such a kick from the critter conversations. Spring will come and my Kittieman will join me at the pond and ask where do the frogs go in the winter? And when will the garden be tall enough for me to hide and stalk things? So looking forward to Squam in September!

I was just noticing what lovely shades of blonde all your dogs are. They are gorgeous.
