March 09, 2007 9:19 AM- connect the dots

Been busy. Both of us-- flat out. Added to that we decided to do some home improvement projects this week.

Earlier this morning I wrote possibly the longest post ever written and it got deleted because of my God. Damn. Keyboard. Gah.

So forget any details. You're gonna have to figure out whatever it was that I was going to tell you about the following. Hey! There's a new idea-- create your own post day. I'll give you the pics and you give me the narrative. Deal?

got 2 cents?

Chris says:
Ooh, this is a fun idea. Blue Poppy: "We decided to finish/redo the bathroom. Henry wasn't happy about it because clearly it took away from his Love-On-Henry time. Doesn't the bathroom look better? With stuff in it, I mean. And baskets. I am a genius, because baskets are the ONLY way to store bathroom sundries and such. Now, I need a glass of wine." Hee! The baskets are genius, BP. These pictures make me want to go out and buy them, even though my bathroom is literally the size of postage stamp and I'd have nowhere to put them. Thanks for the fun post!

OK, I'm with Chris - the baskets are wonderful. Your whole house is wonderful. I am in love with your house. Who says you don't have decorating talent dear? So now I'm going to get back to work before going to a bar to have a Woodchuck and watch my beloved Jayhawks play basketball (wine just doesn't go quite well with bars and basketball unfortunately). Have a wonderful BP day!

Awesomest half bath/mud room ever! Which, by the way, looks bigger than my whole bathroom.

oh yes, your sink is a winner. I love it! It would be perfect for the handwashing I'm currently trying to do in our bathroom sink that is the size of a bucket. Can I come and use your sink instead please?

Well, I dunno about the story, but you have to be the most organized person I've ever seen. Look at those baskets all perfectly lined up! Are you channelling Martha Stewart?

We went outside for a picnic. We thought it a bit odd that Henry did not join us but insisted that we leave the kitchen door open. The day was filled with sun and mountain views. Imagine our surprise once we returned. Henry redid the bathroom. And does he have an eye for the small touches that turns a refurbishment job into a work of art

Looks good! We just finished a kitchen remodel -- well, not WE exactly, but our carpenter. And I love it so much all I want to do is bake cookies. When it's a bathroom remodel though and you want to spend a lot of time in there. . . well, I guess there are things that you can do there too. ha ha. (love the doggy pics on your last post!)

Even the remodeling projects look better at your place...How come when we tear up - I mean remodel, our house just looks like WWIII erupted there? Aw, but then we're not at Soliden...
