June 28, 2007 1:45 PM- a few words from Daisy

DAISY: What is it that old Leo T. once wrote? Something about happy families being all alike and unhappy families being unhappy in their own way? Yeah. Whatever.

I'm not sure what to do with this crew. On the one hand I've got a brother who has to be the dumbest dog on the planet--

DAISY: On the other hand, I've got Wile E. Coyote over there by the window who likes to play innocent but we all know he loves nothing better than sending his gullible younger brother off on crazy adventures where the name of the game is self-mutilation.

DAISY: Of course, it does make it easier for me to be the "good" one. But really, that role is getting a little old and, let's be honest, who wants to be the sweet ingenue anymore?

DAISY: Henry got his tube removed this morning and left a thank you note for Dr. J and the ladies who love him with not one but two photographs of himself-- I'm thinking he's a little bit in love with himself. Dumb dog.

DAISY: Oh and, things are a bit hectic over here what with the blood-dripping dog and the house projects and the children's theater week blah blah blah, but wanted to let you know we're all fine and have good things to share when next we post. A tres bientot.

got 2 cents?

that looking out the window shot - where we can see the two white patches on his shoulders - ROse had a band right across there when she was tiny, but now only has those same patches, I hope she keeps them

This is very funny and a great way to do a blog post...very novel, shall we say? And Daisy is so lovely, as well as very well-spoken.

I just went back to read the previous post - I've been having computer connection problems (thanks, Mr. Mercury), and I'm so glad I read this one first. How scary! Glad Henry's doing better now. Maybe he needs a set of leathers to wear when he's hunting. Hope things calm down for everyone, soon. (Hugs) to you all.
