Oh I know, I know-- my blog membership is about to be revoked for lack of regular posting, but kids-- seriously, this is why I have always made a point of shutting down shop for August. And, in THAT light, I'm doing better than usual because two posts in one month where normally there would be none, well that is quite a solid showing, non?

(Yes, I can turn most things to my advantage-- what can I say? It's a gift.)

It would be so easy for me to tell you all about the ways in which I have been becoming my worst nightmare of a micro-managing marketing wench, but let me simply say, when I laughingly referred to myself as "Sawzilla" it was rather disarming to see with what ALACRITY my beloved, cherished friends latched on to the moniker.

Hmm, quite possibly, when SAW wraps up, if there are still people who want to be friends with me after I have put them through the wringer of my, oh how shall we phrase it, my "creative process?"-- well then, I am a lucky girl indeed.

Instead, let me just tell you all that I have NOT been doing since last we spoke:

WATCHING THE OLYMPICS- nope nada-- a glimpse of white undies in beach volleyball and a glance at some well-shaped arms splashing through water and that's about it.

BLOGGING - um, do I really even need to put this on the list?

PREPPING the syllabus for each of my two 15- week classes that are due, um-- Monday the 18th-- eeek.

PHOTOGRAPHING the dogs or the environs-- please see BLOGGING, above

GOING TO THE BEACH-- oh sure, you see the photo above and are pointing wildly, but let me say, one afternoon at the beach over the course of the entire summer does not "going to the beach" make--

You will be relieved to know that despite my hectic schedule that has prevented me from so many of the pleasurable activities listed above I have managed to watch every episode of Project Runway. And, for the record? Daniel must die-- or go-- or be booted hard out the door. I'm thinking there is a chance two or three women will be in the final three-- that would rock.

And? If you didn't read the comments from the last post-- my oldest sister (mother of the lovely lass pictured with me above) has now found this site . . . oh lord, lord, fingers crossed that the knowledge of her gaze upon me doesn't result in a swift reversion to petulance and childish behavior.
