RDC Fourth of July parade 2009

For anyone who wished they could spend a WHOLE WEEK at Rockywold-Deephaven Camps enjoying the incredible meals (no cooking!), the beautiful lake, your own private dock, the clay tennis courts, all the amenities of a most beautiful resort, etc. etc. etc.-- well, your time has come.

For the first time in its 114 year history, RDC is offering one of it cottages to you and four of your friends (approx $5,000 value!) if you submit the winning response to this question:

What is one of your best memories or moments in Nature?

Of course, you have to write the answer in 140 words or less (it is a contest, after all) but I know YOU can do it!! I know you can-- go check out all the rules etc-- at their blog. The contest begins on Thursday-- this is in celebration of Earth Day-- and runs into next week.

I can't enter, alas-- so PLEASE go and win it for me, okay? And then, hey, I'll be just up the road, I can come down and sit on the dock with you and drink wine and nosh . . yes?
