It's Saturday night and the rain has been falling softly, but steadily for several hours now. I came up to my studio with the explicit intention of working on my homework assignment for this semester's art class, an exploration of drawing with mixed media, but instead found myself working on SAW related items for the past-- oh NO!--three hours.
Sigh
Henry and Daisy are at my feet.
There is no photo of Daisy as when I get up to take her picture she gets up to stand behind me, silly dog.
But, I'm in a rather sweet and mellow mood and the rain is contributing to this feeling of ease so I felt like taking on the meme I saw chez Lizardek:

I agree with you on several things, one of which is I Love Paris. Makes me wish I was there right now, but am sitting in the Cleveland airport, waiting for a flight to Atlanta (???), to get on another flight from Atlanta to Portland...why would they send me to Portland via Atlanta? Crazyness...give me Paris anytime.

Great list-y fun! I too LOVE to clip images and words from magazines (and lyrics from CD inserts). I've collaged a symbolic treasure map type-thing and what I call my soul print (mixed media), two pieces featured in my bedroom that I absolutely treasure. AND who knows what lovelies will come from my SAW classes! Yipppee!

Do tell . . . what reds? So that we may raise a glass in salut! I've been having a hard time lately finding a good wine that doesn't put a dent in the grocery budget. I try to stick to $10 but have noticed an increase in price by $2 lately. And buying the gallon jugs of Gallo is just not gonna happen. (my moms glug of choice)
