February 12, 2008 11:52 AM- a present for you

How can I thank you all for such a delightful deluge of love and good wishes? No flowers to be gathered from the garden . . I know! Let me send you some snow. No, seriously, it's no problem at all.

We're HAPPY to share it with you. Please. Take some snow.

C'mon now. You can do better than that-- don't be shy. Fill your truck. Fill your yard. Give it to your neighbors. Let's send it up to the polar bears-- I hear they're in need. And honestly, we're all set. We really have more than our share.

DAISY: Me? I'm booking the QEII and heading straight to London. I hear it's balmy and blooming over there.

got 2 cents?

Do you think we could send the sub-zero temps and frozen water lines too? Because I'm totally done with having to take a bath in the kitchen sink. Yeeah.

You got the snow, we got the cold, -40 at International Falls, Minnesota yesterday. We are now nationally known as the "THE ICE BOX OF THE NATION". This has always been common knowledge here in Minnesota. Why the nation is just now catching on, I don't know. As I was heading into work this morning a colleague commented that today was warmer than yesterday. Yesterday was below zero, this morning it was in the single digits above zero. Sad, so very sad. I'm not one to hate winter BUT, being frozen all the time is wearing on my psyche. It takes way to much energy to function when it is consistently sub zero, day, after day, after day, after day. See!

Oh Daisy please do...it's true there is something of a faux spring afoot but by the time you got here it could be back to gloom again. hey think how much snow you could fit on the QEII though - we'd love that. It looks c-c-c-cold though. x

No. Uh-h, sorry. I don't want your snow. We're currently being buried again so right now I can't make it down to pick up yours.

We have enough snow, too much cold (I'm also in MN), but but but I love the fresh snow and what I really really want is your landscape for said snow. We have bluffs, but your ... your yard, your expanse!
