June 30, 2010 5:55 AM- with a lotta help from my friends

Three friends. Two convoys. One mission accomplished.

I now live on a 1700 acre farm with a pond, cows, and many a meadow.

Bet you didn't see that one coming . . .

There's a story to how I ended up on a farm, versus in the Back Bay-- but I have to head to Cambridge in 4 minutes so I will share that another time. Safe to assume it has something to do with two sweet-faced dogs and my (obsessive compulsive?) need to provide a safe, fabulous place for them to live.

As it turns out (or, as luck would have it because let it be said, if I were a bird my chirp would go something like lucky-dee-dee), the apartment I am renting is perfect for me and my needs at this time which is all about: space, breathing, yoga, meditation, long walks and space.

I took these photos a couple weeks ago when my niece Lauren was up here helping me get the apartment ready. She spent five long days helping me paint and make it a cozy nest and I am forever grateful to that girl of mine.

I'll share some interior shots sometime soon, but meanwhile, here's the exterior of where my apartment is. I'm above the shop. And yes, those were lilacs wafting in the window . . lucky-dee-dee, lucky-dee-dee.

Bisous, E

P.S. If you didn't see the comment Dave (the husband formerly known as T) left on the last post, go back and check it out. He is an amazing, enlightened, magical spirit and he actually linked to his true email address so, if you are so inclined, do write to him and encourage him to start his own blog. He has a wonderful voice, fabulous stories and the world needs them.

P.P.S. Your loving comments, your support, your gentleness-- all made me flat out weepy. I would not have been surprised to receive criticism or judgement but was instead, was wrapped in the warmest, most caring hug--- are you guys THE most open-hearted, wise, compassionate, highly emotionally developed readers on the Internet?

Why yes, the answer is most definitively yes.

got 2 cents?
