December 14, 2007 3:26 PM- is it already 3 pm?!?

As promised, some shots of the bountiful booty that has us all in the Christmas spirit. Thank you, again-- Jeanine!

A couple of chowhounds can hardly stand the temptation of a photoshoot-- they LOVE those biscuits!

But don't worry about their love handles-- T took them out for a huge hike through the deep snowy woods and they are now crashed in an exhausted (but happy) heap around the woodstove.

As for me, I went up to my studio. My messy, messy studio.

I still want to tell you about the two fabulous films I can't recommend enough-- but am so not in the mind to sit down an write an opine so I will, next time. For now, they are: Cautiva and Color of Paradise. The second one is by the same director, Majid Majidi, who dazzled me with Children of Heaven

I have GOT to write these up-- but, another day. Any glance around will show only a zillion to-do projects piling up on me-- like, perhaps, putting summer chairs away, you know, in OCTOBER!

Ah well. In the New Year--- that seems to be my mantra these days . . ask me anything, I'm bound to say, "Sure! In the New Year . . ."

Stay warm!

Stay warm, BP! Sending you the golden glow of our summer, just for a cuddle. To be used right now, not in the New Year! Though you can always have some more then... :) [Love those two hungry faces peeking at the biscuits, and your fairy-chairy snow circle.]

We would have been up to our asses in snow, says mom, if we were still sitting out on those chairs enjoying the view! :D

Oooh! I love The Be Good Tanyas - Looks like a good mix. Is there a fire pit in the middle of the chairs? Because if so I vote they stay and you have yourself some wintery smores.

What a delight your studio must be - all that creative energy there keeping you warm, while looking on all that beauty outside. I could easily live in just that room.,,, Enjoy!
