And, don't tell anyone-- but yesterday we got a fragrant, balsam pine tree and set it up so that you can see it as you come up the drive. Chances are, late this afternoon as the sun goes down, we will string it with white lights and hang some ornaments, and rub egg nog all over our naked flesh (okay, just kidding about that last part).
Oh my-- things are feeling light and lovely around these parts-- hope there's gentleness and ease where you are, too.

I can't imagine what it must be like to be routinely surrounded by so much pink. Then again, I can't imagine what it must be like to routinely rouse myself out of bed early enough to witness so much pink. Luckily you do, so I don't have to. :)

The heck with the rubbing: BATHE IN IT, Baby! We've had bitty bitty snowflakes swirling off and on all day. They started coming down right as we were chopping down our Christmas tree. The house smells LOVELY.
