September 01, 2008 7:38 AM- and you?

THINGS I STILL DO THOUGH I SHOULD KNOW BETTER:

1. Read a new magazine in the bathtub without first removing all the damn subscription postcards

2. Decide to sit outside while I work so that when I come inside my neck is white, my chest red, and my belly striped pink and white like a neopolitan ice cream.

3. Put a pot of oatmeal on the stove to cook, but then go back upstairs to do "just one thing." Ahh-- charred, gluey mush, my favorite!

4. Walk within 100 yards of a swampy, black mud pit and think she won't get into it. Yeah, right.

5. Say I won't be blogging for awhile when in fact, I always do anyway-- What can I say? You guys are irresistible.

got 2 cents?

Thing I still do even though I know better: Mopping. Ever. By the way, I'm delighted to be "irresistable!" It's going on my resume, right after "smells nice" and "sits on demand."

You're pretty darn irresistible yourself. Here you said you wouldn't be blogging until after Squam, and I've been checking your blog (DESPITE HAVING THE FEED!) daily anyway.

OMG - yes, she's adorable, even fully muddy like that! And like Bethany, I too am glad to be irresistable!

You had me the moment I read your title. Then you lost me for a while during my perusal of my own list. I also do the oats and mudpool things. When I take my rich-in-dog-history-car to the cleaners they always look so disappointed to see me. I also wish you luck at Squam and wish I could be there.

What girl can resist a spa treatment? Even after a mudbath, Daisy's inner beauty shines through... Don't feel bad - my list of 'Things I Still Do, Even Though I Should Know Better,' would be at least twice that length...including most of yours, and too many of my own... Good luck with Squam!

First of all, I love your sky blue door. Secondly, I am with you on the 'going upstairs for just a minute', except I did this while boiling water for tea...NOT the greatest idea in the playbook.

Better to write when you say you won't than not when you say you will, yes? Irresistible. Us? Aw, shucks. Back at ya, kid.
