It takes an extremely brave middle-aged woman to willingly pose for photos in direct sun positioned next to a young, blonde goddess. Wait, brave or insouciant? Or, merely careless? It's hard to say.
I'm gonna blame it on a particularly potent cocktail of alcohol and happiness as yes, this was the weekend (now an annual event!) where Liz, Linda and Christina come to visit. Surely I would disappoint them if I had anything less than a hardened, weather-beaten visage worthy of a guest starring role on the Beverly Hillbillies as Granny's older sister Leticia, non? I mean, how else would they believe all my stories of hardship and woe?
Oddly, as I sit here this morning I realize I did not take one picture this weekend. The hell? What was I doing? Can't recall. But I know we laughed like loons and went for a long walk and ate some yummy pancakes (despite maple syrup rations) and hung out sharing stories until we tumbled into bed.
And! I was healed yet again by Linda--- unreal. The woman is not to be believed-- but I will tell more of that when next I write as right now, I need to get the brombies out for a stroll.

Looks like happiness and sunshine emanating. Even Daisy, in Lizardek's photos is floating on that boat. I am convinced she is smiling too! What joy! btw, you all look gorgeous!

I can't tell you how much I enjoyed seeing photos of people I have read for a long time. I honestly don't think I've ever seen a photo of you. And you know what, you are just as glamorous as I pictured you. Only Christina and Lizardek have cooler sunglasses. Now, when you add that RSS feed, my life will be perfect.

and another thing...like me, you're vain. I don't like to pose for photos either, especially in the natural light of day. I won't say that I'm pretty cuz we're not allowed to do that, but you most definately are, so worry not!

Let me please set the record straight here: BP is EXQUISITE. She gorgeous. Truly. And of course, she only posted a random smattering of photos of her--but I took better ones, I dare say. And if you, Elizabeth, don't post them here, or somewhere, I'll be sorely tempted too. Because really, when I was editing my pics I came to several of you where I just sighed and decided then and there I'd die happy if I look even half as beautious as you when I'm you're age. ... Also, miss you already. It was SUCH a good weekend.
