February 19, 2008 9:17 AM- something different

Hey there.

Some of you might remember how I've always talked about having a creative gathering here at Soliden. Others might remember how Artfest changed my life. Of course, there may be no one out there at all and I might be buried here under snow talking to myself and not even realize I'm totally whacked-out because I've been buried under snow for so long I forget what it's like to actually connect with other live human beings.

Wait. Was I saying something?

Oh yes. News. Creative endeavors. Inspiration. Ah, yes. Now I remember. I wanted to have a retreat on the East Coast in the same spirit as Artfest. It's not possible to have it at Soliden, but I found some place wonderful and have lined up some wonderful teachers and well, why am I telling you about it?

Check it out for yourself!

Squam Art Workshops

Yes, there are some links still under development, but sometimes things happen that throw you off your planned course of action. Have I mentioned to you that we've had a lot of snow up here? I'm not sure if I did, but it's a funny thing how seven and a half feet of snow and miles of glare ice can force you to focus on only one activity, like say, you know, STAYING ALIVE. Grrrr.

But, hey. Mercury has just gone direct. SAW is up and running. And now don't mind me if I just collapse onto one of the dog beds and sleep for twelve hours or so.

A bientot.

got 2 cents?

I've clicked my slippers together three times and repeated the line, there is no place like Squam, there is no place like Squam to no avail. Think I'll go lay down in that field of poppys instead.

immersion-- your site does not allow anonymous comments-- that is what is blocking me (and perhaps others?) out-- make it open and then you will likely get more comments .. .
