What in the Holly Golightly are you doing here? Perhaps you came to check in on my frostbite? Well, very kind of you but despite the look of all this white-- it's not cold. I walked the dogs yesterday in ski pants and a thermal hoodie and had the hoodie unzipped in a matter of minutes because I got too hot.

But I appreciate your concern and care. You are a love, have I told you that lately?

Now let me be concerned for you. You need to get away from this monotony of dogs and snow and snow and dogs

and MORE dogs and MORE snow-- my dear, please.

Get thee hence!

Head straight to ma chere cousine, Elisabeth who has been FLOWN from her home in Paris to New York city by GUCCI where she hobnobbed with Madonna, Gwynneth, TomKat, etc etc. Please. Please. I'll understand completely if you leave skidmarks on this site as you exit.

Perhaps someday, I'll have something exciting to share with you. We did go out last night and I did get dressed and put on mascara and everything-- woot! But, you know, it was no foray into sixth arrondisement pour an aperatif, mes amis. Ah non.

And if you are thinking, well, good for her-- at least she got out of bed this morning early enough to catch the colors of the dawn. Helas, twas not I who trundled down into the field with my camera, but my husband.

He slipped out with the dogs and left me sleeping--- deep in a delicious dream about fields of lavender surrounding the sweetest little house in the South of France . . . ohhh la la la la.

got 2 cents?

Personally, I can't get enough of snow and dogs and dogs and snow, or YOU. Thanks for the sunrise, T!

I'll take lush sunrises over celebrities any day. Which is probably a good thing since all I get is snow, snow and snow too. Smooches pooches! (and of course to you too :)

My hand is waving in slow motion from the pier as I shout "Bon Voyage!" to you on your South of France escape. I trip over a knotted rope on the pier planks nearly falling into the water. This jolts you awake with concern only to hear me say, "Look! Look! I think you are already there! See the lavendar all around you?"

Snow can maybe get monotonous but your dogs. Never! They are way as glamorous if not more than Madonna and Gucci. Just look at the poses they strike.

Your photographs (or your husband's in this case :-) ) are simply stunning. I'll take your shots of snow, dogs, snow, dogs any day! I could coo over your golden retriever any time - but then I am a total sucker for Goldies :-)

Lovely! I didn't know you and Coquette were cousins. She had a fantabulous last Friday, didn't she? Ah, so sweet.
