October 27, 2007 9:33 AM- yesterday, at the post office
T stands in line behind a woman who is purchasing stamps.
Postal Clerk: Do you want flags or flowers?
Woman: Um, flags.
The transaction is concluded.
The woman steps away from the counter.
T steps up.
T: A book of stamps, please.
Without asking, the postal clerk slides a packet of flag stamps across to him.
T slides the package back.
T: Oh, no. Flowers, please.
And, there it is, folks. Reason #245,395 that boy is mine.
P.S. it?s overcast and raining hard here this morning. The dogs don?t like it, but I find it soothing.

Let him know that he can get a page of comic book cover stamps as well. The colors and graphics are so fantastic he might just frame them.
