September 18, 2007 10:45 AM- another tough morning for Henry

Daisy: Are you thinking that I just took a shower? A splash in the creek to freshen up, perhaps? No to both. This "wet look" is courtesy of Ollie's big slobbering mouth and his rough and tumble ways.

Daisy: Do you see this? All the way down my front? He's an animal, I'm telling you.

Ollie: Hey! Look over there-- a squirrel!

Henry: Psst, Daisy, psst-- um, could you, uh, could you maybe--

Daisy: What's that?

Henry: Do I really have to spell it out for you? I'm feeling a bit exposed over here-- a little help?

Daisy: Oh sure-- sure. That better?

Ollie: Ha ha ha-- too late dude, they've all seen it now.

Henry: I just don't understand why I have to suffer such humiliation- why me? Why not either of these ragamuffins?

Henry: I know I have a tribe out there somewhere. Dogs with dignity. Dogs who have feelings.

Daisy: I say we ditch the whiner--

Ollie: Amen, sister-- on your mark, set, go!

got 2 cents?

I do well to get ONE dog to sit for a photo. You must be Wonder Woman to get so many terrific shots of all THREE!!

that henry has the mostt beautiful expressive face. we took rose to wales for the weekend, stayed in a castle! it was in the middle of a national park so she had the best time runngin about snuffling through the undergrowth finding treasures to bring us. she also had a little paddle, but doesn't look like she's going to turn into on of those labs that throw themselves into the slightest hint of a puddle

I had this strange dream the other night where we adopted a husky (and as you may or may not know, we already have a golden and a black lab mix), and I was all panicky because three dogs is A LOT, but then I told my husband we'd be ok because this person I know from the internet has three adorable dogs and likes to use them for all kinds of adorable stories. Hmm, when I woke up, I thought a husky would be nice, but I think we're sticking with two big dogs for now! :)
