HIM: Tell me she's not going for my zipper in front of all these people?
HER: Get used to it, baby.
So, 14 = 98 in dog years and sometimes that is how it feels. We have gone through whole lifetimes together. And yet, today more than ever, we both feel on the edge of a whole new experience about to start up. Crazy, non?
((I SWEAR to god, I am NOT making this up-- at this exact moment I am typing "I got you, babe" is playing on the BBC radio-- and it sums it all up. No matter what, as long as we're together everything else just falls away.))
Except for those Scottish black moods of yours--which I enjoy so much less than your sparkling Irish humor and your Gallic romantic ways--there's really nothing I would change about this relationship of ours.

I love when people are in love! Isn't monogamy awesome? Every year you get to know that person a little more (only thing is, its usually some repulsive habit that he's been secreting away for your entire relationship only to reveal it while you're brushing your teeth one fated night, because, well, we've been together long enough!)
Congratulations- 14 years is a true accomplishment in this day and age of throw-away marriages. You two look as happy now as you did then...

Clearly I missed a post somewhere along the way the past few years...because judging from the comments, I'm apparently the only one who just fell off her chair after finally getting a full frontal of T. ;) And having recently survived an incredibly hard bump in our own road--and now feeling all mushy about each other again after 12 years--this post brought a smile.
