June 10, 2007 3:49 PM- postcard from Chatham
My friend Mindy swept me away to her family compound down in Chatham and I must say, a bit of sea air does blow out the funk. Or wait, perhaps that was the copious amounts of red wine? Hard to know.
Friday night we hit P-town (otherwise known as Provincetown for those of you checking in from the west coast). I got the most fabulous skirt (truly, I wanted to sleep with it, I love it that much) and a pair of outrageous earrings and I got to wear both Saturday night and feel like a million bucks.
I'm very sorry I did not take my camera with me to P-town as there was so much to photograph-- but you know, it's hard. Either you live, or you take photos-- all these that I'm sharing with you I actually stopped, walked around and snapped shots because I knew I would be mad if I got home with nary a glimpse captured.
Here's where little Moby Scissorhands lives . . .
Here are my friends Mindy and Paul. Good thing they don't know I have a blog, or they might object to my sharing their morning visages.
For the rest-- just random shots. A bientot--
got 2 cents?

Joy says: Oooh, so gorgeous. I've lived here for 7 years and have never made it to the Cape. I'm thinking maybe I'll go after Labor Day? Last year you & T stayed somewhere where there were beach roses. Was that in Maine or on the Cape? I remember you posting that so vividly because I had been infatuated at the same time with all the roses blooming and had not known there was such a thing as a beach rose. Glad you had a nice time! posted on: June 11

Sam says: Looks absolutely heavenly, like something out of a book. I can imagine you wearing a navy and white striped shirt, eating an ice cream cone. I figure that's what summer in New England is like! :) So good to hear that the funk is receding... posted on: June 11
