February 24, 2007 10:06 AM- purely hypothetical

How bad would it be if you woke up and could still remember the details of your dream where you were totally making out with Chris Farley (who in the dream you kept calling John Candy and whose real name you only found out by googling ?david spade and that fat guy?) and in the dream you were his wife and you kept climbing onto him where he was lying on the couch and kissing him all over his head and telling him how much you loved him?

NOT that this has ever happened to me, but if it did you could be sure it was due to the blue coloring dye #RB47 coating your organic sleeping pill.

But anyway, NOT that this has ever happened to me, but if you ever had a strange dream with vivid details did it require any kind of exorcism? Just wondering . . .

got 2 cents?

I have really vivid dreams every night, and I usually have one really weird one every month or so. So unless they bother me deeply, i just shrug the weird ones off. What is even stranger to me is that my guy Rick doesn't dream at all. He claims it is like time travelling. Go to sleep and all of a sudden it is morning. Now that is bizarre!

...Although loving up a large and sweaty Chris Farley might make me stop and think for a moment! Too funny what the brain can come up with :)

my favourite/strangest dream ever was that I saw an ex I couldn't get over working at habitat (interiors store) but he had turned into a tiny munchkin. He kept getting smaller and smaller until I picked him up and put him in a glass jar high up on a shelf and put the lid on. When I woke up I felt free again...So the dream was a kind of exorcism in itself!

oh my god-- he shrunk and then you stuck him high on a shelf in a glass jar with a lid-- hahahahahha I LOVE that-- and Amber, thank you so much for the reassurances, I'm more like your hubs and rarely if ever remember my dreams so this one was a double whammy for me

I've had some extremely psycho dreams, though not for a long while. Nothing that involved Chris Farley (or John Candy, for that matter). I'd go for therapy after that. :P

I have disturbing and funny dreams all the time - every night, in fact, and usually, I remember them. (I still remember dreams that I had in my childhood). I think of them as my brain's purging of the day's events that I'm aware AND unaware of. Which leads to an interesting question - what was it that made you dream of Farley? ;-)

omg! i JUST watched that exact sketch with patrick swayze and chris farley a mere 2 hours ago at a friend's house who had the best of chris farley on dvd and played it for us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and btw, you know i have bizarro dreams all the time. bizarro! and i never get to blame food dye. if i do need dream exorcisms, mostly for the really disturbing nightmare-y ones, i generally watch a sitcom, like friends, or something totally frivolous, and that dose the trick.

I do have pretty odd dreams quite frequently. The last one involved stapling a bag of croutons between our house and the neighbors wooden fence in order to secure some major government secret operative.
