May 07, 2006 9:49 PM- how fast it flew

This weekend was brought to you by the number 1--

1 movie: Mondovino

Which I highly recommend if you want the last illusions about how this world celebrates unique beauty scalded from your soul. Perhaps when I recover I will write an opine, but given the extraordinary breadth and scope of my ass-dragging of late, I caution you against holding your breath.

1 book: My Life in France

Which, again, I can recommend highly and perhaps one day won't get around quite to writing up an opine, but then again, I might.

Oh lovely! Green IS summer, isn't it? It's even getting quite green here in Edinburgh, which after our seven-month-winter, I'm ecstatic to see. Green is uplifting and calming at the same time, somehow!
