September 19, 2005 3:42 PM- encore de postcards

People, I'm trying to share the love here, but if it really is killing you, I'll stop with the photos. The thing is, it is SO F*CKING AMAZING and I am having the time of my life but it is all too much for one human being. So, please do your part and take a piece, wouldja?

And now, for the big reveal. The street where I lived once upon a time when I was a reckless nineteen with merde for brains: 4, rue Leopold-Robert. My window is second to the left of the door on the second level. See how easy it would be to climb in and out? Why else would you build a building with indented ledges if not for young women with curfews to scramble back to their beds at 4 a.m.?

got 2 cents?

If you stop, then we really WILL kill you. I'll take that ironwork balcony-thing and the golden Pegasus, plus the chocolate shop, please. And kisses and hugs to you for the DVD. It came today :)

OMG - I think I lived in that same building the summer I was studying abroad in 1989!!!!! Now I have to go back to my photos and look, but it was definitely on Rue Leopold Robert!

OK, looking back at your photos, that was DEFINITELY the building - I was on the fourth floor, right above you! I bought a little flowering plant and put it on my little shallow balcony. Ah yes, Le Swoon.

I'll take 'BluePoppy in Paris' for a thousand, Alex. Question: What can turn you into a sniveling pig of jealousy? Answer: These photos.

Got my DVD, too. Thanks. Yes, keep torturing us with the photos. It's painful, but it's a good pain. Enjoy!

Yes, keep up with the photos, woman! I love all the snapshots - and the balconies, oh the balconies! They are scrumptious. I want to snatch them up and set them up randomly in Mississippi. We could stick them on ramshackle barns, for just that 'perfect' touch. ;) So glad you are having fun. I know you're working, but oh the fun must outweigh the work!

BP, I am loving this living vicariously though you, woman! It is a divine way to spend my hours whiling away at work. A little frustrated? Pop over to BP?s site to gander at a lovely photo or twelve. A little peaked? Clickity Click Click? BP?s pictures have the pick me up of a chicory coffee sipped in an outdoor caf?. Feeling a little burned out by the daily grind? Well, lookee here! Gorgeous ladies in Mrs. Kennedy?s finest! I am so glad you are having a good time? and by the way? Possibilities is amazing. I can not decide if the Paul Simon track or the John Mayer track or the Annie Lennox track are my favorite. Which one is yours?

Your pictures are so lovely. They make me just want to step inside them (though a couple of them would land me in the Seine!)and let the charm and beauty of Paris wash over me. Thank you for sharing :)

aaaaaaaah! * Stabbing pencil in eye. * OK, that's better. Yes, please keep the torture coming. I finally figured out what my problem was, besides jealosy, envy, and the horrible, dark thoughts. It's that I'm too sober to look at these pics. I need a glass 'o wine and some brie before I come here. Yes, that's my problem indeed. (thank you for the DVD, I'm a little afraid to watch it)
