Before I answer Cindy's 3 questions, I just want to share a little moment I had this afternoon as I was happily blogging away. The CEO came in for a little chat with me and as we were discussing this and that I oh-so-casually continued to finish my comment and post it before giving him my full attention.

He left and I felt so NAUGHTY and, yes, wild and free. And, you know what? That kind of rebellion is like #7 on the list of how to know when you are really old and boring. Pbbbfffttt. Jeez. Next you're gonna hear about me buying a Harley and gettin' some leatha--

1. Do you clean eye boogies out of your dogs' eyes?
Of course I do. What would the neighbors think?

2. Do you paint your nails?
No. Opal, the best manicurist this side of the Mississipi paints my nails.

3. How long does it take you to write a post for this blog . . . thought process and typing?
That depends. Normally, not more than 4 or 5 minutes. This is due to the fact that for 5 years I was the senior contributing editor for a magazine where I had to produce 1,500 - 3,000 word articles on a regular basis. And, since I always left it to the last minute, I became quite proficient at churning stuff out in 30 seconds or less. I highly recommend magazine writing as a precursor to blogging.

Of course, that's just for the thinking and writing bit. Typos are what slow me down. For every one minute of writing, add on 8 minutes of typo clean-up.
